Another travelling story: YES, sometimes u should believe in MAGIC: PART 1

Well yeahhh..
Happened long times ago.. When I recklessly decided to travel to Prague alone. I've written short story about that, now I have to continue.

First of my travel plan was.. Germany as transit, Prague, then Budapest. Yes, and as usual, I was and am a bit stingy, if you could not say I was and am a very money savy person. Aha. Like I would do anything to get the lowest price as I can while I should get the equal or better quality than the more expensive one.

I've got the hotels in Prague and Budapest via hostelbookers. With very very low price, that I even could not find a room with that cheap and that good in Indonesia *ahaaa I'm always good at that!*. It was only 6 Euro or about Rp. 60,000.00 per night. My Spanish friend, Pol, already arranged all those stuffs through his credit card as I did not have one. It's easier to get the cheapest price via credit card in advanced booking thru the internet, if you talk about backpacking travelling in Europe (or maybe around the world).

The dorm room at Sir Toby's hostel, exactly like where I stayed

The next thing, I booked the Eurolines bus with the student special price. Only for Utrecht-Prague, two ways. I haven't found the right transport to get myself to Budapest yet. I'd solve it later, with the lowest price. That was what I thought before. Train and aeroplane were way more expensive than the bus one, though sometimes aeroplane got very low in a very fast offer in the internet, in like less than 5 minutes! via Ryan Air. And of course because it happened that fast, I could not manage to buy it. Always missed it. Huh!

In short, I got myself to Prague after briefly visited Frankfurt ! And the first thing I looked for was the ticket to get myself to Budapest. I could not find the cheapest one for the day I planned to go. All the tickets were sold out. I almost cried. But then I finally found the ticket the day I planned to go to Budapest. The departure of the bus would be at 7 am from the station !! What?! In winter? It's like 5 am in Indonesia. And it's hell freezing. But that was somehow okay as I could not get any other tickets. And for the ticket to get back to Prague from Budapest? Let's think about it later, I still had 3 days in Prague and 2 days at Budapest, I thought.

Well, then I spent my days at Prague wandering around the city without map and certain directions *what a fool, ha!* You can see my other stupid activities in my story about recklessly traveling alone to Prague. Then, every time I finished my wandering session, I ended looking for a ticket for going back from Budapest to Prague in every ticket selling points, train station and bus stations. Then what? Resulted zero. But at that point I still thought it was okay. I thought that I could find one immediately after I'd be arrived at Budapest.

I stayed at a hotel named... Sir Toby's Hostel. In a dorm with 10 beds but only like 5 beds occupied. 1 Australian girl, 1 Japanese girl, 1 Hongkong girl, and 1 chinese girl. All asians except the australian and we were all the foreign students in Europe! The hostel was peeerrffeecctt for the price that cheeapp !!! really clean and tidy. The attendants were also so much friendly. Plus, at the time I stayed, there were free dinner cause of Christmas, at the hostel's bar!

So, let's make the story shorter and jump to the day which was supposed to be my last day at Prague. I was lost in the city even I got myself in Plzner, outside Prague, the city of beer, like for 2 hours or more. Okay, that's not that  matters as I really enjoyed my lost. Yeah, that was a journey tho. I met a Kazakhstan boy who was studying in Prague. We talked a bit but as usual, I forgot to ask something personal like email or even name. Yeah I didn't wanna look that weird that I suddenly asked his email in our first meeting. Finally, I got myself at hostel like around 11 pm. I cooked some fries for the next morning as well in the common kitchen of the hostel. Bathe myself, packed all the stuffs, wearing my mantel so I'd be ready to go when I woke up in the morning. So, I slept at about 1.30 AM at that time. I set my alarm at 6 so I still had 1 hour to go to station.

Here it was,
I suddenly woke up not to the alarm sound. I was a bit afraid. I saw the Japanese girl fully got up, sitting calmly at the corner of her bed and was busy with her laptop. I saw the clock at my handphone and WHAT?!?! I almost died. It showed that it was 5 minutes to 7 am! I was a bit hysterical but held my voice back regarding the other girls still slept soundly. It was still completely dark and I turned my lamp on.

"Oh I'm gonna lost my bus to Budapest" I whined to the Japanese girl, as slow as I can.
"Really? What time will it departure?"
"7. Didn't u hear my alarm ring?"
She shook her head, showed that she didn't knew anything, " I woke up since 5 am and I didn't hear anything." she told me calmly.

I rushed to get out and that girl reminded me to turn off the light again. Damn! My alarm didn't work! How come? I checked out the hostel with rush. I told the boy that worked as receptionist at that early morning that I might lost my bus. He just smiled and said good luck, prolly the bus would come late.

I rushed to the nearest tram stop on feet with 1 backpack and small wheeled suitcase, and almost cried. I was arrived at the tram stop at 7.10 and still have like 30 minutes to the Prague central bus station. I kept praying that the bus would come late. When I went from Utrecht to Prague, the bus was late like almost 1 hour because of snow. So at that time, I hoped it'd be like that again!

TO BE CONTINUED..
I have to cook some foods. I am completely hungry and this story have been written long enough.
