I'm home..

it's very great being home after a long long time spent my times in campus area. Doing big tasks, plumbing and SPAM.

for me, plambing and S.P.A.M are my spirit of job in the future. its about piping and distribute clean water into a stratified building and discharged the dark and grey water through the pipes. So, i and the millions people over there who took the study in the same field with me (environtmental engineering or water supply engineering) have duty to design a piping network vertically and horizontally reckon with the diameter, velocity, volume of reservoir and etc which are VERY VERY TIRING ! (oohh naniez...you haven't been a real engineer...can't imagine how it will be if u are a real engineer in the future...)

i must open the page the diameter of steel carbon piping, then velocity graphic in morimura's book, then back to the microsoft excel on my monitor to calculate it in order to find the most suitable in every system, every strate, and finally overall that building itself, including into the reservoar, roof tank and at least the characteristic of pump. (page of diameter--velocity--laptop--page of diameter--velocity and laptop again. Many times repeated). Oh yes, the piping of dark water, greay water, vent piping must not be forgotten too.

And the last is calculating RAB (The draft of budget price) and BOQ (Bill Of Quantity).

the hardest part of this task is the isometry. I hate drawing. especially ENGINEERING DRAWING like this. Suck. I'm a linguistic person, dude! who stuck in the middle of engineering department. Hoh!

S.P.A.M (The System of Drink Water Supply)

still about piping. (For the higschool students who think that environmental engineering is about theory or memorizing word, IT's A BIG MISTAKE! We memorized the words just for the early semester. And in the second semester and up you must meet counting subjects basic on civil engineering field, especially water supply systems, building construction, and engineering DRAWING. not art drawing like those who took Product desaign or visual communication design. But, we draw square, lines, and it must be completed by the numbers resulted by measuring process)

S.P.A.M is about distribute clean water into a city which is decided to be project area.

we must calculate the needs of clean water in that city. it calculated through some steps. the steps are :

1. Knowing the conditions of the area (the demography, hydrography, etc).
2. finding the maps of that city. not usual map. the use of and map, population distribution map, and contured map.
3, finding the data of population in that city.
4. projection of the population until 10 years or other, depend in which year your design use for

after that, we must decide the area for supply. it depends on the number of population. better that we distribute (design the main pipe for distribution) only on the crowdest area. it's because the pipe price is expensive. When i saw it. Whew. it's more expensive than ordinary home building material, I think. the area must be shaped as " block " and in every block, there must be a loop existed (we must make it for decide and calculate the diameter of pipe)

then, we design the pipelines for the distribution of clean water by epanet. you must put the elevation for every nodes in the supplied area after decide the node location, the length for each node into other nodes, and the assumed diameter of pipes. Then, run it! this is the most part I hate. if the velocity or pressure is not suitable, we must assume the diameter again. not in one node, but ALL!

And now, I'm home...the best part is enjoy the AC in the bedroom. In my kost, there wasn't AC (it's expensive to rent a kost room with AC).

Before I went home at 3 afternoon this day, I dropped into DELTA PLAZA for a while. Buying J CO DOnuts.. Hmm..(drooling). BUT the best part is...I bought it by my own money. not my parents' money (little bigheaded, hah?). Money that i've gained it myself. from scholarship, from teaching physic to highschool student and mathematic and science to junior highshool student. Ahahah. Very like it.

And other best part is i bought it for my mom too. I BUY MY MOM SOMETHING SHE WANTED IN THE THREE DAYS AFTER HER 47th BIRTHDAY AND 4 DAYS AFTER MOM DAY. It's amazing feeling.

enough for today. my dad told me i must stop the internet connection. it's expensive dude. Hahaha
